Allergy/Immunology Elective Curriculum (2 or 4 weeks)
| Goal—Broad, General |
- Improve assessment and treatment of common allergy and immunology-related health conditions.
- Better recognize and facilitate treatment of patients requiring specialty care.

| Objective---specific and measurable, how, knowledge, skills and attitudes |
- Identify and treat poorly controlled/unstable asthma.
- Interpret serum allergy test.
- Interpret allergy skin tests.
- Develop standard approach to the suspected immunodeficient patient.
- Understand pros/cons to allergy testing.
- Understand pros/cons to Immuno therapies (i.e. allergy shots)
- Develop better understanding of: allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, food allergies, urticaria, angioedemas.

- Follow attending in outpatient and inpatient setting having first contact with as many patients as possible.
