| During this time the resident will receive extensive experience in all modalities of cardiac testing and interpretation including: |
- Exercise treadmill testing
- Exercise treadmill testing with imaging with cardiolite
- Exercise treadmill testing with imaging with echocardiography
- Pharamologic stress testing with adenosive, persantine, dopamine and imaging with cardiolite or echo.

| The resident will become familiar with the following: |
- Physiology of exercise
- Indications and contraindication of the above tests
- Treadmill ECG interpretation
- Dictating a treadmill report
- Performance of treadmill testing
- Explaining the findings to the patient

- Successful completion of this elective will be determined by the program director in consultation with the supervising attending physician.
