Neurosurgery Curriculum

- To increase breadth and depth of knowledge of commonly encountered neurosurgical conditions.

- Perform in-depth evaluation of various types of spinal cord impingement syndromes (disc herniation, spinal stenosis, etc.) and develop treatment plans.
- Identify appropriate surgical candidates for spinal cord impingement syndrome.
- Identify appropriate subdural/epidural evacuation candidate and develop post-op management plan including appropriate medications, rehabilitation, etc.
- Identify treatment strategies for various neurologic neoplasms.
