NICU Curriculum (2 or 4 weeks, Away)
| Goal—Broad, General |
- Assess and manage the Neonate requiring advanced newborn care.
- Better recognize neonates requiring Level 2/NICU care.

| Objective---specific and measurable, how, knowledge, skills and attitudes |
- Manage day-to-day care of the NICU patient.
- Perform various procedures including intubation, UAC’s, UVC’s, etc.
- Learn neonate ventilator management and the rationale behind choosing different ventilators.
- Identify when & how surfactant should be administered.
