Call Schedule
Section 1: INTRODUCTION
This section outlines the general call schedules in effect now. There is potential for these call schedules to change at any time. The philosophy of the program regarding call schedules is that on-call duties will maximize each of the following:
- Contact with patients and variety of medical illnesses.
- Time to read and study.
- Personal and family time.
The program will also seek to minimize the amount of time with non-medical duties, recognizing that a certain amount of such duties is necessary.
