Residents Manual
Committees
Quincy Family Practice
Each resident will be assigned to one or two of the various committees at the Quincy Family Practice Program. These include the Library Committee, the Resident Advisory Committee, the Curriculum Committee, the Residency Selection Committee, and the Building Operations Committee. Some of these committees meet regularly. Others meet only as needed. Announcements will be made well in advance so that residents may arrange their schedules to attend these committees.
Blessing Hospital
Second year residents will be assigned to a hospital committee. This will start six months into the second year and be for one year. These committees include Family Practice Case Review, Infection Control, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Graduate Medical Education Committee, Cancer Committee, and the Utilization Review/DRG Committee. The hospital committee work is required by the Residency Review Committee and by the Accreditation Counsel for Graduate Medical Education.
