• All residents are encouraged to sign out their pages for small blocks of evening time (dinner, movie, nap, etc.). This should happen ONLY on appropriate rotations (probably not on Evans, Nassery, Ghanekar or other beeper-intensive rotations). Residents on the FPS should only sign out to other residents on the FPS. It is the resident’s responsibility to find appropriate coverage and ensure a safe sign out during these instances.
