Circumstance and Events When a Resident Must Contact the Attending Physician
- Transfer of patient to ICU or a significant change in patient status
- Cardiac/respiratory arrest, unexpected death
- Active labor patient
- Significant administrative problem
- Transfusion of blood products
- Resident personally performing an invasive procedure
- Any time you need help or have a question
